UNLOCKING THE AIR-TOURISM NEXUS
Natalie’s work explores the dynamic interplay between air transportation and tourism and its significant implications for regional economies in our in-depth investigation
A specialist in industrial organisation, air transport economics and urban economics, Professor Flores Fillol presented his work published in leading journals such as the European Economic Review and the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management.
His lecture, entitled ‘The environmental challenge in aviation: can airport charges be part of the solution?’, explored the effect of different charges on airlines, ticket prices and CO2 and NOx emissions.
We warmly thank Ricardo Flores Fillol, as well as Karine Van der Straeten (Toulouse School of Economics – IAST) for her comments, and our hosts, Sylvain Bourjade and Laurent Joly.
