BIO

Dr. Tiziana D’Alfonso is Associate Professor of Industrial Organization and Transport Economics and Policy at Sapienza University of Rome.

Her research focuses on transport economics, regulation, and environmental and sustainability policies in aviation and network industries.

She has published extensively in leading international journals and serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Air Transport Management and Transportation Research Part D. Her work has received several international awards, including Best Overall Paper Awards at ATRS and ITEA conferences.

Dr. Chantal Roucolle is Assistant Professor at Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile, the French civil aviation university, in Toulouse.

Her research in industrial organization explores airline behaviour in competitive environment including pricing, scheduling, network expansion. She has recently oriented her work towards evaluating regulatory measures related to sustainability imperatives, one of the main challenges currently faced by air transport stakeholders.

She holds a PhD in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics from Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences-Sociales (France)
