Delft University of Technology, faculty of Aerospace Engineering, Technische Universität Braunschweig, Aeronautics research Centre Niedersachsen and ISAE-SUPAERO signed, on Thursday 29 February, a cooperation agreement for an academic and scientific cooperation in the field of sustainable aviation. This seals a long-term partnership (5 years) for the deployment of several types of collaboration, such as:
The complementary nature of the scientific expertise (modelling of environmental impacts, non-CO2 emissions, energy and architectural efficiency, etc.) of the three partners will benefit the entire industry involved in the decarbonisation of aviation and will provide the Institute for Sustainable Aviation with a framework for academic collaboration conducive to the development of innovative projects on a European scale.
This alliance brings together three university clusters to develop an interdisciplinary approach to the challenge of the transition of aviation to sustainability.
